Took me YEARS to truly adopt the motto that food is fuel. Logically, I knew crash diets didn’t work. The strange cleanses, restricting, etc. I was just desperate for an easy solution to my weight “problem.” What changed? I decided to leave it to faith that if I did eat clean, nutrient-rich (and for me animal-free) food, my body would reflect that…eventually. And I was right. It also helped me to be body positive.
